This is the part where some of you might think I'm crazy, but Parallel Lines is still some of the best fun I've ever had in an open world game. It might be a GTA clone according to most people, but it has all the focus on Action Driving that I thought GTA lacked, with cars that won't vanish on you and customizable performance. I also liked the storyline better, though that's purely subjective, and the main character's role as the gangsta wannabee that gets screwed for being dumb and gullible early on.
Driver San Francisco lacked a proper cop story, but it was even better gameplay wise, so I have no idea why there aren't even any mentions to a possible Driver 6 yet.

If they're gonna make another Driver, they're probably gonna wait a couple years before they tell us about it.
Driver: San Francisco (great game, even after beating it, I still enjoy cruising around in free roam) was in development for about 5 years, but the public didn't know about it until about a year or so before release.

I honestly didn't know it had in development for so long... But now I seriously hope they do have something in the works. Driver SF went straight into my favorite games, and I haven't stopped playing it either. Cruising is great, the soundtrack is great and replaying some of the challenges is also great.

Indeed.
Online multiplayer seems to be decently active, too.
Everytime I go to play online, there's always available matches.

Ah yes, in that case I totally agree with you. The original game has been ported to mobile already, imagine the possibilities of a true remake or reimagining.

And let's not forget Ubi now has automotive licensing. The cars in the first game already were almost exact replicas of actual vehicles, but now they could go on and use the actual vehicles.
